Renting Conditions

What does the accommodation cost?

The accommodation prices are presented in Norwegian krone and apply per room per night. The prices include edsheets, towels (does not apply to cabins/vacation homes – must be ordered as an extra), power consumption and water unless anything else is stated.

Number of guests

The apartment or cabin can not be occupied by more people then than what is stated in the confirmation-/rental agreement.

Contractual

The contractual relationship between the guest and Sirdal Fjellpark is binding from the time of booking. The person responsible for implementing the booking must be at least 25 years old when ordering the cabin or 20 years old when ordering the apartment(s). The person who implements the booking must be a part of the travel companions. If not, we can cancel the booking on arrival, and no refund will be given. Your order is secured with the payment details at the point of order, and a confirmation recipe will be sent to you by e-mail.

Payment

The payment will be made online (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro – See Card on the webpage). If the rest of the payment isn’t paid in time, we can cancel the order.

Cancellation

The cancellation is considered registered the day we receive a written warning. Our cancellation rules are as follows: The whole amount will be refunded for cancellations more than 15 days before arrival. If you cancel 14 to 0 days before arrival, 50% of the order amount will be refunded. If you don’t show up, the landlord will keep the whole amount.

Changes of cabin/apartment due to Force Majeure or other incidents outside of our control

In cases where a rented cabin/apartment is being sold, or there’s been a fire, serious water damage or other incidents which make the cabin/apartment unlivable, Sirdal Fjellpark will try to find another alternative in the same area. If this isn’t possible, Sirdal Fjellpark will refund the whole booking. Sirdal Fjellpark is not financially responsible for Force Majeure (disasters, strikes, riots, weather conditions, storms and similar situations) and other conditions we can not control.

Travel- and cancellation insurance

It is recommended that you have personal travel insurance and cancellation insurance when you order vacation homes/accommodations.

Rental period

The accommodation is usually available on arrival day from 16.00 or 17.00 to the departure day at 11.00. Some variations on these times are indicated in the rental agreement. Agreements for early check-in or late checkout have to be done with the booking department before the arrival date.

Inventory and gear

All units have kitchen utensils, duvets/blankets and pillows unless anything else is indicated in the description, all our accommodations have electrical heating. Where there is a stove, you can use it. Wood can be bought at the local store Joker, or it can be added as an extra item when you book your stay.

Injury

We have the right to charge the paying card that was registered upon ordering for eventual injuries, which is applied to the rental object.

Bedsheets and towels

Bedsheets and towels are included in the apartment booking. This isn’t included when booking a Cabin/holiday home, but it can be ordered when you book your stay.

Cleaning

In some of the cabins/apartments, you are responsible for cleaning befor departure. This information will be provided in the information packages.

The number of beds

The number of available beds is stated in most of our cabins and apartments. There is no possibility of using the couch, attic, or simulator as an accommodation unless this is stated in the current cabin/apartment instructions. Travel cots and baby chairs are standard in some of our living units in Sirdal, but on most of our other living units, this can be rented as an extra – call or send an e-mail and get more information on your cabin/apartment.

Complaints

Non-function equipment and other shortages in the rental unit, inventory, or installations shall be notified to Sirdal Fjellpark immediately upon arrival or as soon as it is established/occurs so that it can be solved as soon as possible.

Reservation

In cases where Sirdal Fjellark is only an intermediary of the rental object, Sirdal Fjellpark is not responsible for possible typing errors or breach of contract made by the landlord. If the rental unit can’t be used, Sirdal Fjellpark will try to find alternative accommodation.

Animals and smoking

Pets are not allowed in our cabins or apartments without a written prior agreement with the booking department. Smoking is not allowed inside any of our rental objects. Use the ashtrays when smoking outside. Violation of this may lead to a fine.

Safety

Windows and doors shall be locked every time you leave the cabin/apartment.

If the fire alarm were to go off, do not try to turn it off. Leave your room quietly, and meet up in the car park. One of our employees will be present as soon as possible.

We can offer cosy and comfortable rooms for families, couples and friends, choose between a double room, family room or cabin. In winter you will receive a discount code for 15% discount on selected ski passes and ski rental options. In summer you can use the discount code for selected time slots in the climbing park and tickets for the mountain carts.

Every room has everything you need for a long weekend or short stay. Every room has a small kitchen, Chromecast, private bathroom and all rooms are self check-in.

Sirdal Fjellpark being responsible for the processing primarily means that Sirdal Fjellpark is accountable and has obligations under the Personal Data Act.

If Sirdal Fjellpark chooses another company to process personal data, i.e., data about you, we refer to this as a data processor. In cases where we use data processors, we ensure that we have entered into data processing agreements regulating how the data processor can handle the data provided.     Sirdal Fjellpark processes personal data and other forms of data to deliver the services agreed upon with you. We also use data to ensure the best possible user experience for you through automatic login, adapting content display to your screen, and the fastest possible page loading.
  2. For statistics and understanding market trends
    We compile statistics and map market trends to improve and further develop our websites.
  3. To personalize services – services specifically tailored to you
    We aim to provide you with the opportunity to receive tailored content and adaptations. We achieve this by using data on your user behavior, preferences, or other available information.

If you do not have an active customer relationship with us, we will only send such marketing if you have given us explicit and informed consent.

How are these details shared?

In some cases, we share information with partners who use the information to deliver targeted content and/or offers through their services. We enter into agreements that limit access to the use of the information and set obligations to comply with applicable privacy laws.

If there is suspicion of a criminal offense in connection with the use of services, the information may be disclosed to public authorities upon request.

We will not share, sell, or convey personal data in any other way than described in this privacy policy.

Correction and deletion of personal data

It is important that the information we have collected about you is correct and up-to-date. If you find any errors, we encourage you to contact us so that the information can be corrected. You can also contact us if you want the information to be deleted.

We will not store personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing and legal obligations we have, such as under accounting legislation.

Our analysis and third-party tools

Sirdal Fjellpark uses analytics tools to gather information about how our services are used. We use Google Analytics, where we measure the number of visitors, which pages are visited, how long a visit lasts, and similar data.

Statistics on users and traffic are typically used and applied in an anonymized form, so that the statistics do not contain any information that can be directly linked to you as an identified person. However, the statistics can form the basis for marketing targeted at selected target groups. The data collected is stored on Google’s servers and is deleted after 24 months if you have not returned to the site during this period.
