About the job – snow cat operator
We are looking for you who have extensive experience from life behind the lift pass and construction machinery!
When darkness descends and the elevators are turned off, it is the heroes of the night who rise to the fore. The groomer drivers are the ones who stay up every night to ensure that we can deliver the best product we have. You must have an understanding of terrain, snow and weather in addition to having mechanical insight for the daily maintenance of the machines.
As a groomer driver you work in the operations department and in close dialogue with the operations manager.
Your work tasks
- Maintenance of slopes
- Daily maintenance of the snow cat
Wanted qualifications
- Has extensive experience with treadle machines and/or larger construction machines
- Preferably Scandinavian-speaking, but English is also part of the working language
- Has an understanding of terrain, snow and weather conditions
- Has professional pride and the ability to deliver a good product and result
- Is flexible and understands that changes can happen in a short time
- Has an understanding of the nature of the profession and working hours
Requirements
- Has previous work experience with snow cats and/or larger construction machines
- Has mechanical understanding
- Certificate B and own car
- Must be able to work every other weekend and during holidays (Roman Christmas, winter holiday Rogaland (week 9) and Easter holiday)
- Must be able to work in the winter season from December to Easter Monday (with the possibility of extension)
