We are looking for seasonal employees part-time (minimum every other weekend and holidays).
As a ski instructor, you get the opportunity to share your passion by inspiring and teaching the art of skiing to both children and adults. There are few things as rewarding as seeing the joy in the eyes of someone who has mastered their first turns or finally steps up to a more challenging course. Here you work with an active team that enjoys being out in the snow, either on skis or boards.
The students in the ski school range from people who have never had skis on their feet before, to the more experienced students who want to develop their technical skills. Therefore, we are looking for you who have good experience and insight into skiing and/or board knowledge. In addition, you must have the ability to convey the knowledge you possess in a simple and understandable way, both in Scandinavian and English.
As a ski instructor, you are employed in the service department and work in close dialogue with the ski school manager.
Your tasks
- Teaching and treating customers
- Be our smiling face to the outside world
- Selling ski school lessons, as well as helping customers make orders for our products
- Snow shoveling, rigging and dismantling in the Hulderheimen area
Desired qualifications
- Have a minimum level 1 course from the Norwegian Ski School either on skis or snowboards
- Speaks Scandinavian and English
- Responsible
- Handles changes at short notice
- Likes to work with all kinds of people – both adults and children
- Likes to work physically
Demand
- Must be able to work every other weekend and during holidays (Christmas, winter holiday Rogaland (week 9) and Easter holiday)
- Must be able to work during the winter season from December to Easter Monday
